The M.B.A. was founded in 1978 and since then, we have been working with Mass wildlife and several other organixations in lobbying for hunting and conservation rights. Over the years our organization has been involved with helping to pass several important hunting bills in the state of Massachusetts including:

     The handicapped hunter release bill

     The use of releases

     The use of expandable broadheads

     The hunter harassment bill

     The two deer season

And most importantly, extending the deer season for archery and muzzle loader.

With your help and support we can work to become a stronger hunting and shooting family not just a community. We are a dedicated group that works hard for the sport we love, but we need more member involvement to be effective. Some of the issues we are working on right now are:
